Calibration Types Offered

Verification Data

  • The customer’s unit is repaired/adjusted (if required) and verification is performed to ensure the unit meets the specifications
  • NO Certificate of Calibration/Data Report is supplied to the customer

Final Data

  • The customer’s unit is repaired/adjusted (if required) and verification is performed to ensure the unit meets specifications
  • Certificate of Calibration (or Certificate of Conformance for SpO2 product) and As-Left Data Report are supplied to the customer
  • This calibration type does not convey the as-found condition of the instrument to the customer

Z540

  • Verification is performed on the customer’s unit (if possible) to determine if it is operating within specifications before any repairs or adjustment is performed
  • The customer’s unit is repaired/adjusted (if required) and verification is performed once more to ensure the unit meets specifications
  • Certificate of Calibration (or Certificate of Conformance for SpO2 product), as well as As-Found and As-Left Data Reports, are supplied to the customer, provided As-Found verification was possible
  • This calibration type provides the customer with a snapshot of the condition of their instrument when we received it (As-Found Data Report) as well as the condition of the instrument after any repairs/adjustment (As-Left Data Report)
  • This calibration type IS NOT AVAILABLE on models for which we offer an accredited calibration

Accredited (ISO/IEC 17025:2017)

  • Verification is performed on the customer’s unit (if possible) to determine if it is operating within specifications before any repairs or adjustment is performed
  • The customer’s unit is repaired/adjusted (if required) and verification is performed once more to ensure the unit meets the specifications
  • Certificate of Accredited Calibration as well as As-Found and As-Left Data Reports are supplied to the customer, provided As-Found verification was possible
  • This calibration type provides the customer with a snapshot of the condition of their instrument when we received it (As-Found Data Report) as well as the condition of the instrument after any repairs/adjustment (As-Left Data Report)
  • As-Found and As-Left Data Reports list measurement uncertainty for each measurement point
  • Uncertainty is identified as a gauge of how “sure” we are of the measurement we are quoting.**
  • This calibration type is available on most currently-produced models; it is not available on the most out-of-production product or ANY SpO2 product

Additional note:  **the uncertainty defines a range of values that the measured value can reasonably fall within.
